I am a Brooklyn based photographer working across digital and film, photographing people, places, and the stories that give them character. My approach is a mix of thoughtful direction and candid observation. I will step in when a little guidance helps, then give the moment room to become something real.

Before photographing couples, weddings, events, and businesses, I found my way into photography through landscapes. Spending time in nature taught me to slow down, notice the light, and pay attention to how a place feels. That instinct follows me everywhere now, whether I am photographing two people in love, a crowded celebration, or the full story of a neighborhood cidery.

I am not interested in forcing every person into the same pose or making every place look like a showroom. I want the personality, the atmosphere, and the small details that make the experience your own. Sometimes that means giving you direction. Sometimes it means quietly noticing what is already happening. Usually, it is a bit of both.

Outside of photography, I am probably taking a long walk, hiking somewhere new, practicing mindfulness, or enthusiastically starting another hobby. Curiosity keeps me present, and being present is at the heart of how I photograph.
